A 20 minute drive south delivers you to the Osa Canopy Tour office. Choose an 8am or 1pm start. Duration of the tour is 3 hours and cost is $50 for kids under 9, and $59 for kids 10+ and adults. Zip through the rainforest canopy; 9 cables, 11 platforms, 2 rappelling stations, 2 suspension bridges, and a "tarzan" swing. Enjoy a snack of fresh fruit and a drink when finished the tour.
A 30 minute drive north delivers you to Hacienda Baru Tours. Choose your adventure, by zipline or tram. Zipline 7am, 10am, or 1pm start. Duration of the tour is 2-3 hours and cost is $45. 14 land-based platforms and 1 tree platform with view of the coastline. EcoTram allows you to move slowly through the rainforest canopy while sitting in a motorized chair which you control. You can stop, go, speed up or down, turn 340 degrees. Duration of the tour is 20 minutes for $30.
FLYING TRAPEZE
Airborne Arts offers 2 hours of high flying, mind blowing, heart lifting, unforgettable adventure that will challenge you and your friends to the extreme fun that can only be experienced on a flying trapeze. Located 5 minutes away, this tour is operated by Lalo's Horseback Riding Tours and costs $38 per person. Choose BEACH or WATERFALL adventure. Minimum 2 people. Departs at 8am with duration of 4 hours, and includes a typical Costa Rican lunch at the ranch.
